AI Search Visibility

When people ask AI who to use,
make sure it knows you.

More and more customers skip the list of links and simply ask ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews or Copilot: “who's a good accountant in Leamington?” Those tools answer from what they can read about you. We make your website clear, accurate and easy for them to understand — so when they answer, your business is in it, described correctly.

What is AI search visibility?

It is making sure AI assistants can find accurate information about your business and are confident enough to mention you. It overlaps with good old-fashioned SEO, but leans harder on clear facts, structured data and a consistent story about who you are, what you do and where.

The problem

AI can only recommend
what it can understand.

Most small business websites were built for people skimming a page, not for software trying to work out precisely what a business does. The result is that AI tools either leave you out or describe you wrongly.

Your services are vague

“Solutions for your business” tells an AI nothing. If your site never says plainly what you do, for whom and where, it cannot match you to a question.

Your details disagree

Different addresses, phone numbers or service lists across your site, Google and directories make you look less trustworthy to the tools that cross-check.

Nobody answers the questions

People ask AI direct questions — cost, timings, areas covered. Sites that answer them clearly get quoted; sites that do not, do not.

Outcomes

What changes for your business

  • AI tools describe what you do accurately
  • Your services and areas matched to the right questions
  • Consistent details everywhere you appear online
  • Pages that answer the questions customers actually ask
  • Better ordinary Google results as a side effect
  • A simple check you can repeat to see how you are described

Scope

What the work involves

Five pieces of work, done in this order.

01

A check of how AI sees you now

We ask the main AI tools about your business and your market and write down what they say — right, wrong or missing. That is the starting point.

02

Clear answers on your site

Plain statements of what you do, for whom, where and how, plus answers to the questions customers ask — written for people first and easy for machines to read.

03

Structured data

Behind-the-scenes labelling (schema.org) that tells search engines and AI tools exactly what each page is: your business, your services, your areas, your FAQs.

04

Consistent details everywhere

Your name, address, phone and services matched across your site, Google Business Profile and the directories that matter.

05

Letting the right tools in

Making sure your site lets the reputable AI crawlers read it and publishing a simple summary file for them — so you are not invisible by accident.

Realistic expectations

This is worth doing if…

  • Customers find you by searching or asking around
  • You serve particular towns or a particular trade
  • Your website is more than a year or two old
  • Competitors seem to come up where you do not
  • You are happy for this to build over months, not days
  • You want honest reporting, not ranking promises

Nobody controls what an AI tool says. Anyone who guarantees a mention is guessing — we will show you what changed and what did not.

In detail

How this works in practice

For anyone who wants to understand what is actually being done.

How AI tools decide what to say

AI assistants answer from what they have read about you: your website, your Google listing, reviews, directories and mentions elsewhere. When those sources are clear and agree with each other, the tools are far more likely to mention you and get the details right.

When they are vague or contradict each other, the tools play safe and name someone else.

Structured data, explained

Structured data is a small amount of code on each page that labels things for machines: this is a business, this is its address, these are its services, these are its opening hours, this is a question and its answer.

Your visitors never see it. Search engines and AI tools read it first.

Why it helps ordinary search too

Almost everything that helps AI tools understand you also helps Google rank you: clear pages, honest answers, fast loading and consistent details. So this is not a separate bet on the future — it improves what you have today.

What we will not do

We will not stuff pages with keywords, invent reviews, or publish thin pages for every town in the county. Those tricks are increasingly penalised and they are not the kind of thing we want our name on — or yours.

Questions people ask us

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No — and nobody honestly can. What we can do is remove the reasons it would leave you out or describe you wrongly and show you the before and after.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

Partly. The foundations are the same, but AI tools lean much more on clear facts, structured data and consistency, so the emphasis is different.

Do we need a new website?

Not usually. Most of the work happens on the site you have. If it is built in a way that makes this impossible, we will tell you plainly and explain the options.

How will we know it's working?

We repeat the same questions to the same AI tools on a regular schedule and keep the answers, so you can see for yourself how you are being described over time.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of your site and where you are starting from, so we do not publish a price list. After a short chat you get a clear written quote.
